This is my latest painting. August 18, 2014. It's called Moonlit Forrest 2014. As usual it's oil paint over acrylic paint. The background was painted twice with black paint 4 times. Acrylic paint and twice again with two different black oil paints. Talk about making a picture black...lololo It's the pure colorist in me. Anyway's I'm not sure why I painted all those white trees. They just happened....lol I'm not sure if there is any meaning to this painting? U tell me what U think this painting is all about. I'd love to here some of your comments. I'm getting bored with my own comments, but I think they add to the painting and that's why I comment on my own artwork. I've been painting since 2006. I use acrylic paint and oil paint. I also use Pebeo drip oil paint that has a glossy finish. It is very beautiful to look at and is smooth to the touch. When I'm painting with drip oil I must wear a gas mask and have several fans blowing on me as the fumes from this paint are very strong.
